North Shore High School

North Shore High School is a fictitious high school located in Evanston, Illinois. The school serves as the main setting for Mean Girls, Mean Girls 2, Mean Girls (2017 musical), and Mean Girls (2024). The campus had included a back-building, until it burned down in 1987. Although this high school does not actually exist, it is based off of New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois. The exterior shots were filmed at the Etobicoke Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
